Emma Innes is a journalist and author. She started out as a health reporter at MailOnline and the Daily Mail. Since having children she has been writing books as well as articles for the Sunday Mirror, Sunday Express and Sunday People.
Emma’s debut book, In Their Hands, was published in 2023 and tells the story of her daughter’s birth and time in intensive care as a newborn. The book not only celebrates Sophie’s life, but also the extraordinary work of the University College London Hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit.
Emma is now working on her second book, The Emetophobia Survival Guide, which will be published by Jessica Kingsley Publishers.
Emma has a Geography degree from Cambridge University and lives in the Kent countryside with her husband, two children and ever-growing collection of animals. She is happiest when marching around outside in wellies with her children and animals.
